We’ve discovered that 346 new depositing member accounts since March have been appearing in our system in duplicate, with two separate member IDs. We’ve now resolved this to ensure they now only appear once under a single member ID. This hasn’t impacted the publishers themselves or their submissions but those of you using Crossref APIs should triple check your recent queries. Any memberID value between 15298 and 16272 may have had a duplicate.
This was due to a fix to a code error related to the generation of Member IDs which shouldn't happen again.
